Acts. 18: 21. But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. KJV

"...I must by ALL MEANS keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem"

Paul, Jewish Rabbi and Apostle to the gentiles, delares that he would return to Ephesus once he had attended the feast at Jerusalem, which was one of the three feasts which YHVH declared Israel was to attend three times per year (Deuteronomy 16:16)

"Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty"

There were seven special dates which were ordained by YHVH to which the nation of Israel were to observe and these were as follows:

1... Shabbat or the Sabbath day (The day of rest based off YHVH resting on the seventh day after finishing their work of creation)

2...Pesach or the Passover (The celebration of Israel being delivered out of the house of bondage, the house of death)

3...Omer or the barley harvest, when the first grain harvest was reaped

4...Shavuot or wheat harvest, when the second grain harvest of wheat was reaped

5...Rosh Hashannah the blowing of trumpets

6...Yom Kippur, the day of atonement (Where the high priest went in once a year to atone for his sins and the sins of the people)

7...Tabernacles, Festival of Booths or Succot (Celebrating Israel wondering in the wilderness 40 years for their rebellion against YHVH)
All can be found in Leviticus chapter 23.

Messiah Yeshua Himself (Jesus) told the remaining 11 apostles (after his resurrection on the Festival of Omer (first grain barley harvest)) to remain in Jerusalem until they received the gift of Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) Acts chapter 1: 4 - 5 and this was a direct commandment ACCORDING to Deuteronomy 16: 16 to which i repeat...

"Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks (Shavuot), and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty"

One festival, the passover and feast of unleaven bread, in which all males were present before YHVH including his own son (Messiah Yeshua) had already come and gone, and upon his resurrection from the dead (having now established Messiah Judaism) we clearly saw how here Messiah Yeshua demonstrated to the world, the fact that he, his Father and their Spirit's Feast Laws were not abandoned, by telling his now 11 apostles that the second of the festivals commanded to observe in Jerusalem (the festival of Shauvot) was almost upon them, therefore they were not to leave Jerusalem but wait for their (YHVH's) festival to fall upon them in its set time and then to be present before their Father; Avi, who would then fulfill both Ezekiel.36:26 and Jeremiah.31:33 both at the same time by bestowing upon them, Ruach HaKodesh (the Spirit Holy)

This was filfiled (Acts chapter 1: 4 - 5) and on the festival of Shavuot (counting 50 days from the start of the Omer, the barley harvest (seven perfect Shabbats and a day ) the Holy Spirit was poured out upon them when they were together in the upper room of their house (acts. 2: 1 - 4) and as Messiah Yeshua became the first friuts, the first born among many brethren (Romans. 8: 29) so they became the first born of him (Exodus 4:22, the second friuts) and right there and then, the very first gospel message ever spoken by the Messiah Jewish congregation, added 3000 to Messiah Yeshuas body as he sat on his throne watching, ACCORDING to the Law he and his father gave Moses by their Spirit, and there and then you clearly see that not all of their Law YHVH abolished as they and Paul made clear, but the Laws pertaining to blood sacrifices they abolished, as they were no longer needed because of the once and for all perfect sacrifice of Messiah Yeshua himeslf as our Passover Lamb.

Paul testifies to the above when he says in Hebrews. 10: 16..."This is the covenant that i will make with them after those days (what days if not when the apostles waited in Jerusalem counting 50 days from the resurrection until they would rise in the living Omer (First born fruit of YHVH, as his living Shavuot (the very first born of the First Born)) saith YHVH, i will put my LAWS into their hearts and in their minds will i write them". It begs the questions therefore, "What Law was put into our hearts and written in our minds then? How can YHVH do away with what he has put in out hearts and writen in our minds? The answer is he cannot do away with himself, for when the angel of YHVH spoke with Moses face to face and Moses then ascended up the mount where he received the tablets of the Commandments written by the finger of YHVH, HE RECEIVED WHAT HAD COME FROM THEM, just as your words are a vocal expression of you, so their words are a vocal expression of them, the compound one God who is Lord and when YHVH gave the Law to moses, it was a praylude of the better promice which was to come, for Moses received the Law carved upon dead stone but when they who spoke their essence decided to take it one step further, they gave their Law a body and made the Law become flesh, "Then said i, Lo, i come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, i delight to do thy will, o my God: yea, thy law is within my heart" [Psalms. 40: 6 - 7] The consequence of this, was the Law that had become flesh, began walking amongst us, as the legal temple of the Law, who was now dwelling in him (Ruach Ha-Kodesh) and what began as the Law carved from dead stone, dwelling in dead wood and metal (Gold) became a living legal temple of the Law, the Law dwelling within the Law and when this living Law rose from the dead and became incorruptible, he himself not man said that he would then take it EVEN further and when the apostles were then in Jerusalem at the appointed time, for the festival of Shauvot, they became the first to become the body, bone and flesh of the living Law and as a consequence, the same Law (Spirit Holy) who was put into Yeshua, was also poured into them and written upon their minds with such speed, that clothen tongue's of fire appeared upon their heads.

As i eluded to above at the beginning of the paragraph, Paul testified to what i said, as he said it in his letter to the Hebrews and given the fact that Matthew to Revelation did not exist at the time Paul was speaking, he had to therefore obtain his reference points from somewhere, that somewhare being Genesis to Malachi to which he then stated that ALL scripture (then Genesis to Malachi) is God breathed... [] and since it is now a matter of record, that Ruach is the Law who breathed Genesis to Malachi, poured himself into the body of Messiah Yeshua (his bride) and writes himself upon her mind, its is incoceivable that she, his bride, should still attest to that fact that he, Ruach the Law, has done away with himself.

From this moment, the Apostles began working with Messiah Yeshua to fulfill the very words he said would come to pass once he rose from the dead...

"I will build my church (my called out ones) AND the the gates of hell will not prevail against them (prevent them from calling out into my house, such as were being saved) (Acts. 2: 47) and here you see THIS MESSIANIC GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM BEING PREACHED AS A WITNESS (Matthew. 24: 14) ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF MOSES IN DIRECT OBSERVATION OF THE FEAST LAW'S OF YHVH, and slap bang and wallop, 3000 Messiah Jews were added to Messiah Yeshua through him being preached according to Deuteronomy 16: 16 sandwiched right between Leviticus 23.

Messiah's Judaism was established by Father, when in the presence of all males in Jerusalem according to the first of the festivals requiring them to be gathered, he raised Messiah Yeshua from the dead and gave him to be the head over all things pertaining to the called out ones (church) (Ephesians. 1: 22 - 23)

"And have put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the CALLED OUT ONES (church) WHICH IS HIS BODY the fullness of HIM that filleth all in all"

To which he immideatly began his rule by letting his called out ones know, that his rule was going to continue according to what his Father had already begun...

"Stay here in Jerusalem until the second of the festivals requiring you to be in the presence of our Father comes, and when it begins, your Father will give you his Spirit." (Acts. 1: 4 - 5 Paraphrased)

And upon this, with the first festival establishing Messiah's Judaism, the second festival became the basis by which the house of Israel went from being a natural olive house and wife separated from her husband, to being the house of Israel, the natural olive wife of YHVH, now a Messianic Natural Olive house of Israel, reconciled bodily to her husband (2 corinthians. 5: 19) and tightly packed around Messiah Yeshua (Ehp. 2: 21 - 22) "HIS BODY THE FULLNESS OF HIM THAT FILLETH ALL IN ALL" (Eph. 1: 22 - 23)

The Scholars place the death of Messiah Yeshua at either 27 or 33 CE (AD) but for the basis of what i am about to say, that wont make the truth affected.

The Messianic house of Israel continued from the second of the three festivals, to rise from strenght to strenght as Messiah Yeshua's body and preached this gospel of the kingdom, borne out of the Feast Laws given Moses by YHVH and advanced by them also, until the third of these feast Laws came and were concluded, the festival of booths or tabernacles. How do i know this? Scholars place the story of Cornelius and his household becomming born again at 35 or 41 CE(AD) and as i elluded to earlier, the Scholars place the death of Messiah Yeshua at either 27 or 33 CE (AD) taking either of these dates and calculating the difference between, then around 8 to 10 years had transpired between the house of Israel becomming Messianic and the first gentiles being born again and grafted into it (Acts. 10) (Romans 11) and hence becomming also Messiah Yeshua's body (Ehp. 2) With the Feast Law gatherings being a yearly thing, three times a year, and a minium of eight years to count, these festivals would have been attended a minimum of 24 times before the first gentile gained access into the commonwealth of Israel so it cannot be argued therefore that the Festival of Tabernacles did not take place and seeing as though the scriptures make it plain that the disciples followed steadfastly the apostles doctrine (Acts. 2: 42) then you would have had something in the region of around 50,000 Jews of Messiah following his gospel, taught them by the apostles, according to the feast Laws of which it came forth, years before the first wild olive gentile was grafted into them and Messiah Yeshua's body.

Messiah Yeshua's gospel of the kingdom, CANNOT be preached outside of the feast Laws of his Father from which it came, and hence Messiah's Judaism cannot be lived outside of the Jewish Apostles and Prophets of which he is the cornerstone.

Did the 50,000 Messianic Jews cease to follow Messiah's Judaism after the gentiles gained access into the kingdom?
Lets take a look through time shortly after the second gathering festival (Shavuot) had come to an end.

1)... Peter and John at the Temple.

Shortly after the festival of Shavuot, the apostles "...Peter and John, went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour" (3pm, 6am being the first hour of the Jewish day). Clearly going up into the temple to pray was a custom performed as Israel followed the Law...

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I complain, and moan; and He hath heard my voice. He hath redeemed my soul in peace so that none came nigh me; for they were many that strove with me. (Psalm. 55: 17 - 19)
Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. (Daniel 6:10) Aforetime being when he was still within Jerusalem and involved in temple prayers (words mine)

and clearly after Messiah Yeshua rose from the dead, they still continued to perform it (Acts. 3: 1)

2)... In prison.

Shortly after this, The apostles were thrown into prison for the work of the kingdom, but the angel of YHVH opened the prison doors by night and brought them forth, telling them to speak in the temple all the words of this LIFE, to which they did, entering the temple and teaching the people. (Acts. 5: 11 - end)

3)... Persecution.

All this teaching by the apostles, continued for around two years, as the Messiah Jews "... continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowshio, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts. 2: 42) until Rabbi Shul (Paul) decided that he was going to stop the Messiah Jews from following their Messiah's Judaism (Acts. 9) he failed, and straight away after being hailed by YHVH as his chosen vessel, Rabbi Paul straightway taught Messiah Yeshua in the synagoguges, that he was the Son of G-d. As there were yet no gentiles amoungst the called out ones (church) it is obvious Paul taught Messiah Yeshua as a Rabbi to the Jews. It becomes even more obvious as a consequence, that Paul also, along with the rest of the thousands of Messiah Jews "... continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowshio, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts. 2: 42) and this contimued for a further 6 years until Peter had his encounter with Cornelius the roman solider.

For a period of almost 8 years or more, a total of around 50,000 Messiah Jews would have steadfastly (including Rabbi Paul) been steadfastly following the apostles doctrine, which they themselvels would have learnt from Messiah Yeshua himself, and these apostles continued to follow it, even after the death and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua, which brought forth the new blood covenant, which now covered Genesis to Malachi (there was no Matthew to Revelations, as these book had not been written yet)

It was even the observance of the Jewish dietry Laws by Peter, around 8 years after the death, resurrection, ascention and blood covenant fulfilling of scripture by Messiah Yeshua, that saw the gentiles gain access into the house of Israel, the natural olive and body of Messiah Yeshua, as the wild oilve called out ones. (Romans. 11)

4)... Cornelius.

When Peter, apostle and elder went up to the top of his house to pray and fell hungry, he entered into a trance in which YHVH showed him a sheet with all kinds of non - kosher meats upon it (food types forbidden for Israel to eat) and instructed Peter to rise up and eat (Acts. 10) Peter point blank refused stating to YHVH that at no time did anything unclean (forbidden to Jews to eat) ever enter his mouth (Acts. 10: 14, see Lev. 11) and the vision was repeated twice more and the sheet taken back up to heaven (Acts. 10: 16)

At this point in the history of the Messianic Church (called out ones) there were well over 10,000 practicing Messianic Jews in the body of Messiah Yeshua (Acts. 2: 41, Acts. 6: 1, Acts. 8: 3 - 4) and all were totally devout diciples who followed steadfastly the apostles doctrine (Acts. 2: 42)

Clearly, seeing that the deciples were following Peter, Peter would not have been a hypocrite, and cease to continue practricing what he preached, and thus you see him confirm this to YHVH when he stated to them that it was impossible to teach the Jewish dietry Laws to his fellow Jews and be seen breaking the very diet that YHVH himself followed when he walked the earth.

Now at this point, many people has assumed, that YHVH in telling Peter that what he had cleansed, Peter was not to call common, was giving the Jewish People a green light to begin eating non - kosher food, but this simply is not the case.

Consider the story of Ezekiel the prophet if you will [Ezekiel. 4: 9 - 15]

9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat thereof. 10 And thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time shalt thou eat it. 11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of a hin; from time to time shalt thou drink. 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.' 13 And the LORD said: 'Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.' 14 Then said I: 'Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abhorred flesh into my mouth.' 15 Then He said unto me: 'See, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereon.'

Father is not stupid and neither was Exekiel. Ezekiel says to Father what he and the rest of the G-d head already knew, and they respond by telling Ezekiel that the dietry Laws shall not be breached and that they have given him kosher dung instead of non kosher dung, but neverless, that the purpose of the prophecy shall not be changed regarding the people and therefore... '...Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.' [Ezekiel. 4: 9 - 13]

The prophecy remained 100% true and the non - kosher, kosher substitution also remained 100% true.

Peter is on the top of his house hungry and falls into a trance and sees a four cornered sheet come down from heaven, with non - kosher beasts on it and then YHVH instructs him to 'rise Peter, kill and eat' (Acts 10) to which Peter, proclaims the same response to YHVH as Ezekiel proclaimed, namely... [Eze. 4: 14] Then said I: 'Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted; for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abhorred flesh into my mouth.' [Acts.10: 14] But Peter said, Not so Lord; for i have never eaten anything that is common or unclean'

Here we straight away see the YHVH substitution in operation, as this time YHVH dose not wait for Peter to refer him to Ezekiels words, but tells him proactivly 'what i have cleansed, call thou not common' You say 'how does this equate to Ezekiels words?' simple.

Ezekiel had nothing to do with anything unclean, and peter made it completly known to YHVH that he had not broken the dietary Laws either in having anything to do with unclean foods to eat, but YHVH tells Peter that what he had cleansed, Peter was not to call common, and even after the vision is taken back uo to heaven, we read the scriptures showing Peter PONDERING what this meant, Why? because Peter knew from the account of Ezekiel, the resurection of Messiah Yeshua, the beginnings of Messiah Judaism, which still saw them observing the feast Laws and the dietry Laws and the fact that it had been over 8 years since they began following these Laws from Messiahs Judaism, that it was impossible for YHVH to now be telling him to suddenly start eating unclean foods and by the way, tell the now around 50,000 Messiah Jews that they are to start doing it also, for him to not know upon this basis, that the vision had implications beyond what he had seen and heard, so naturally Peter remained on the top of his roof pondering what the vision really meant, and what it really meant, was that YHVH was refering to the intergration of the gentiles into the natural olive and not directly a suspension of the Jewish dietry Laws, for Leviticus 11 lists all the uncledan ANIMALS which are forbidden to the natiral olive to eat, AND NOT UNCLEAN HUMANS, and any human is not listed simply because no man can eat another man, whether Jew or Gentile. Human flesh is forbidden to any human full stop AND THEREFORE UPON THIS BASIS, the kosher substitution of unclean animal to clean animal (as under Ezekiel) would not have applied, as clearly YHVH had not given Peter unclean animals to eat, but a vision to understand.

So where do we stand? Like Ezekiel, the vision remained 100% true and came to pass, but unlike Ezekiel, no dietry Law was played out, there was no non - kosher to kosher transfere of which Lev. 11 was enacted by Ezekiel, instead, what there was, was a symbolic acting out of the dietry Laws as first supposed by Peter in his response to the vision and the words of YHVH, and YHVH's response to him, and YHVH was already in the process of giving the answer to Peter while he was still trying to put the meaning together, by bringing the very animals to his doorstep for him to see, speak to, interact with, and eventually, witness with his own eyes, Ruach HaKodesh (Spirit Holy) fall upon them (Cornelius and his household) while he spoke the words of eternal life unto them.

YHVH had simply used something Peter was very familar with, to let him know, that at a human level (and not the dietry, animal level under Leveticus 11) the gentiles were no longer to be considered 'dogs' (Matthew. 15:26) but were now accepted into the house of YHVH as the wild olives (Romans 11) and that the issue of Jews entering the houses of gentiles was not a direct legislature of Moses (as far as i have read and studied) but an interpretation based upon the words spoken by Moses to the children of Israel, when entering the promise land, like a firewall to protect the Jewish people in case they ended up breaking any of YHVH's Laws as a consequence of entering the house of a gentile.

Thus you can see that the vision YHVH gave Peter, had absolutely nothing to do with the Jewish dietry Laws, or the ending of them and the vision itself, did not put an end to the Law prohibiting a Jew from entering the house of a gentile, as no such direct Law existed.

But what of Peter eating what the gentiles ate i hear you say? well, firstly, consider these words... 'There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band. 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.' [Acts. 10: 1 - 2]

Many leaders and non leaders have looked at this peice of scripture and immideatly made the assumption, that Peter ate non Kosher food, but upon examination of the afore scripture i just quoted unto you, right there, you see the mith destroyed as to whether Peter ate non kosher food in the house of Cornelius, the roman solider.

A devout man, who feared G-d with ALL his house, giving much alms to the people, is visited by an angel of YHVH and told to send for the man they have made the strenghtner of the other 11 apostles (Luke 22:32) who are the heads of the Messianic congregation of YHVH and the ones to whom the Messiah Jews feared to join themselvels to on account of the incident with Ananias and Sapphira [Acts. 5: 1 - 13] This same man, Peter, is the one that the angel of YHVH has told a gentile to ask to come into his house and have fellowship with him. Devout Jews would not dare to join themselvels to Peter and a gentile is telling him to come to his house. You get a picture of the magnitude of what Cornelius was being asked to do by the angel of YHVH, in as much that two Jews who lied to G-d were pronounced with death for doing such by Peter, and yet here is a gentile who knows the customs of the Jews, asking Peter to come have fellowship with a dog (Matthew. 15:26) but here is the point. Cornelius FEARED G-D and because his heart was pure G-d saw him (Matthew. 5: 8) resulting in him seeing G-d and YHVH told him to send for Peter and Peter would tell him what to do.

You say 'this still does not answer the question of Peter eating what the gentiles ate?' well, yes it does, for a G-d fearing man with his entire household, who knows the customs and Laws of the Jews, is told by YHVH to send for the top man to come into his house and this man knows that Peter follows the Jewish dietry Laws, knows therefore what happened with Ananias and Sapphira, knows also as a consequence of his interaction with the Jewish nation, that all Messiah Jews followed steadfastly the apostles doctrine, and therefore decided after having around two days to prepare for Peter's arrival, to present him and the other followers who accompained Peter with a rosted pig for supper. Yup, would not have happened. A G-d fearing gentile with complete knowledge of the ways of the Jewish people and two days minimum to prepare, would have prepared kosher foods for the apostle and his accompaniers to eat

There you have it. The visions and words received by Ezekiel, Peter and Cornelius, remained 100% true and were 100% fulfilled, but the alluding to the Jewish dietry Laws, did not cause those Laws to cease, no not a single bit.

5)... Converts requesting to be taught on Sabbath days.

Around four years after the conversion of Cornelius and his entire household into the house of Israel and Messiah Judaism, Rabbi Saul who became known as Paul was separated by the apostles at the request of the Spirit Holy, to begin the work he had called him and Barnabus unto and when the apostles had fasted and prayed, they laid hands on them and Rabbi Paul to the Jews bacame also Apostle Paul to the gentiles. Rabbi Saul (Paul) of Orthodox Judaiam, became a Rabbinical Messiah Jew and teacher to the Jewish people around CE(AD) 29 to 35 and taught the Jewish people as a Messianic Rabbi for around 10 years (CE 39 to 45) before beginning his work as an apostle to the gentiles [Acts. 13]

Even after Paul was separated by YHVH and ordained by the apostles to begin his work to the gentiles, Paul still went (after departing Antioch to Seleucia and then to Cyprus, eventually ending up in Salamis) straight to the Jewish Synagogue where he preached the word there also.

After this, Paul went through the Isle unto Paphos and then Perga in Pamphylia, ending up in Antioch in Pisidia, where he and Barnabas WENT INTO THE SYNAGOGUE AND SAT DOWN.

There, after the reading, they were invited to speak, where Paul accepting the invite, expounded Messiah Yeshua to them, resulting in the gentiles having heard these words, to proclaim to Paul and Barnabus... '...THAT THESE WORDS MIGHT BE PREACHED TO THEM THE NEXT SABBATH' (Acts. 13: 42) whereupon, the next sabbath, ALMOST THE WHOLE CITY were gathered to hear the word preached (Acts. 13: 44) resulting in many who were ordained to eternal life, beleiving (Acts. 13: 48)

6)... The council at Jerusalem.

A good 10 years had passed from the time Cornelius and his household had received the Holy Ghost and many gentile converts were receiving regular teachings from the apostles and Messianic desciples of the day and clearly, the gentile converts were following the example of the Messiah Jews who followed steadfastly the apostles doctrine, so when some strupid Jews decided that the gentile converts had to be circumcised and follow the Law of Moses (obviously wanting them to revert back to offering animal sacrifices) it resulted in the apostles meeting in Jerusalem to discuss the matter (note they did not attempt to dodge the matter and sweep it under the carpet) When the apostles met in Yerushalyim (Jerusalem) to discuss the problem they faced all the apostles (including Rabbi Shaul (Paul)) who was also present and the result of the meeting was the following...

[Acts. 15: 23 - 29]
23 "And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia. 24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the Law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

'For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us,' what seemed good to Ruach HaKodesh? All the apostles bore witness to the fact, that the Holy Ghost was telling them, that along with all the Messiah doctrine they had learned from Messiah Yeshua until now, of which for almost 18 years, the Messianic Jewish communbity along with the gentile converts (for 10 years) followed steadfastly, only that which pertained to the righteous demands of the Law needed fulfilling, a thing which Rabbi Paul agreed (Romans ) who was present at the council meeting and therefore along with what the gentiles had steadfastly followed of the Messianic Jews for 10 years, came these steadfast TORAH commadments from the Holy Ghost of which the Messiah apostles agreed...

  • That ye abstain from meats offered to idols [Exodus. 32: 6], [Numbers. 25: 2], [Revelations. 2: 14, 20]

    • [Rev. 2: 20] Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

These words were written around CE(AD) 96 some 45 YEARS after the Holy Spirit commanded the church through the mouth of his apostles who agreed with him, to cease from eating meat offered to idols. Clearly there were those who decided that G-d could not tell them what to do, so this time Yeshua himself by his Ruach tells his church again by the mouth of his apostle, to cease from eating meat offered to idols. Two G-ds have spoken and still to this day (the 21st century, ) his church (the called out ones) still think that G-d cannot tell them what to do. Torah tells us that Ruach Hakodesh (Spirit Holy) interceeds for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and it also tells us that Messiah Yeshua interceeds for us as the great high priest, but both in their interceedings have warned their temple and body that their iniquity cannot continue so grace may abound (Romans. 6: 1) but still she ceases to listen, but there is only one G-d left who has not yet spoken and should he speak, it will be two late for the natural or wild olives who have forced his hand to hear any interceeding from Ruach or Yeshua, for in the words of Father spoken to this children by the mouth of Moses...
'...Whosoever hath sinned against Me, him will I blot out of My book. 34 And now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee; behold, Mine angel shall go before thee; nevertheless in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them. [Exodus. 32: 33 - 34]'
Both Ruach and Yeshua have interceed to Father for almost 2000 years regarding their children eating meat offered to idols and have spoken and recorded for a witness in their words of eternal life, their warnings to the church of what to expect if they fail to heed the warnings not to eat meat offered to idols and there is no doubt whatsoever, that Father has watched paitently (while listening to his Son and Spirit, interceed for those carrying out this abomination in his Sons body, bone and flesh) the total hatred those in their house have had towards them in filling up Messiah Yeshua's body with death...
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: [Eph. 5: 29]
and as YHVH has brought LIFE to them, have they repaid that LIFE with death, so now has come the time that Father will speak, for the time of intercession has come to an end and in the words of John the Baptist which were confirmed by Messiah Yeshua himself...
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire [Matt. 3: 10]
  • And from blood,
    • [Gen. 9: 3 - 5] Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

    • [Lev. 17: 10 - 14] And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

    • [Deut. 12: 23 - 24] Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh. Thou shalt not eat it; (the blood) thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.

    • Wesley's Notes on the bible
Acts 15:29 Blood - The eating which was never permitted the children of God from the beginning of the world. Nothing can be clearer than this. For,

      1. From Adam to Noah no man ate flesh at all; consequently no man then ate blood.

      2. When God allowed Noah and his posterity to eat flesh, he absolutely forbade them to eat blood; and accordingly this, with the other six precepts of Noah, was delivered down from Noah to Moses.

      3. God renewed this prohibition by Moses, which was not repealed from the time of Moses till Christ came.

      4. Neither after his coming did any presume to repeal this decree of the Holy Ghost, till it seemed good to the bishop of Rome so to do, about the middle of the eighth century.

      5. From that time those Churches which acknowledged his authority held the eating of blood to be an indifferent thing. But,

      6. In all those Churches which never did acknowledge the bishop of Rome's authority, it never was allowed to eat blood; nor is it allowed at this day. This is the plain fact; let men reason as plausibly as they please on one side or the other. From which keeping yourselves ye will do well - That is, ye will find a blessing. This gentle manner of concluding was worthy the apostolical wisdom and goodness. But how soon did succeeding councils of inferior authority change it into the style of anathemas! Forms which have proved an occasion of consecrating some of the most devilish passions under the most sacred names; and like some ill - adjusted weapons of war, are most likely to hurt the hand from which they are thrown.
  • And from things strangled,
    • Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
15:7-21. They were counselled to abstain from things strangled, and from eating blood; this was forbidden by the Law of Moses
    • Wesley's Notes
15:20. And from things strangled - That is, from whatever had been killed, without pouring out the blood.
Deuteronomy 12:16 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water.
Deuteronomy 15:23 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water
So important was this Law, that it was spoken twice by YHVH at the hands of Moses, but the people still broke it...
1 Samuel 14: 32 - 33. They pounced on the plunder and, taking sheep, cattle and calves, they butchered them on the ground and ate them, together with the blood. Then someone said to Saul, "Look, the men are sinning against the LORD by eating meat that has blood in it." "You have broken faith," he said. "Roll a large stone over here at once."
  • And from fornication:
    • 1 Corinthians 5:1. It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
Rabbi Paul as i have already stated, was present at the Jerusalem council meeting of which the apostles (Paul inculded) agreed with YHVH that the gentile converts were forbidden to engage in any sexual activity with another outside of the bonds of marriage, a thing which the Spirit Holy refused to allow to fall to the ground of that which was delivered unto Moses by Him.
Deuteronomy 27:20 "Cursed is the man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he dishonors his father's bed." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
This Torah commandment, agreed by G-d and the apostles, was declared by them as part of the righteous demands of the Law which the gentile converts were to fulfill (Romans 8:4) and around 8 years later, we see Rabbi Paul, apostle to the gentiles, letting the Corinthian called out ones (church) know matter of factly, that the Law was still the Law and if they refused to honor YHVH's Law, there would be consequences...
1 Corinthians 5: 2 - 5. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
The ultimate consequence, being handed over to satan, so that the body could be destroyed to bring about salvation.
  • from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
7)... Rabbi Paul in the synoguge.

[Acts. 17: 1 - 4] Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

As was his custom. IT WAS NEVER Pauls custom to follow anything which was not able to be found within the prophets (Genesis to Malachi, the Hebrew scriptures) and indeed, this is evidenced from scriptures itself, where it is shown that Rabbi Paul became a Rabbi after undergoing descipleship at the hands of Gamaliel, and not just taught, but taught ACCORDING TO THE PERFECT MANNER OF THE LAW [Acts. 22: 3]

So without doubt, seeing as though the Jewish Sabbath WAS NOT an ordinance to which paul stated Messiah Yeshua abolished when fulfilling the Law there is absolutely now way, this Rabbi brought up according to the perfect Law, would not be still observing that of the perfect Law which still was in operation and indeed, in the very next chapter, we observe the following...

[Acts. 18: 1 - 11] After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; 2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. 3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers. 4 And he reasoned in the synagogue EVERY sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. 5 And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ. 6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. 7 And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man's house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue. 8 And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. 11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

A YEAR AND SIX MONTHS TEACHING JEW AND GENTILE IN THE SYNAGOGUE EVERY SABBATH DAY. You cannot get it any clearer than that and under the Jewish lunar calendar system, one lunar year would equal 360 days, so therefore 12 months in the Jewish year of 4 weeks per month, would equate to 48 lunar weeks and the further 6 months would equate to 24 weeks, giving us a total number of weeks Rabbi Paul TAUGHT EVERY SABBATH IN THE SYNAGOUGE to equal 72 weeks, meaning that the minium number of times the book of Acts alone recorded an apostle teaching in the synagouge on the sabbath, ONE OF THE SEVEN FEASTS OF YHVH, would be 72 and that is just one man, how much more all the other leaders besides the 12 apostles and Rabbi Paul, who followed steadfastly their doctrine from the resurection of Messiah Yeshua till Acts 18, some 21 years?

After a year and a half, Paul left Corinth and came to Ephesus.

[Acts. 19: 8] And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
[Acts. 20: 6] And we sailed away from Philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

Passover falls just after, or on some occasions, on the Jewish sabbath day (Friday evening to Saturday evening) and seeing that we know that Rabbi Paul attended the three festivals YHVH confirmed every male was to attend every year in Jerusalem (except in extreem circumstances) we can also say that he attended the synagogue on the sabbath as was his custom. Another clear example of Messianic observance of the Law.

After observing Passover and Unleavend bread, Paul wasted no time in Asia, that he could attend the second of the compulsory feasts, that of Shavuot, which Father commanded him and all males to be present in Jerusalem in attendance of.

[Acts. 20: 16] For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

It also confirmed the fact, that Rabbi Paul was counting the Omer (the 49 days from the day after the Passover, beginning in the evening of that day) so that he could be present in Jerusalem on the 50th day for the festival of Shavuot (7 sabbaths plus 1 day, or 49 days plus 1 day) and not Pentacost, which is a man made celebration which excludes the counting of the Omer.

Around 3 years later CE(AD) 62, we read of Paul take a voyage as a prisoner on a Roman ship which had set sail for Rome. "Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them," [Acts. 27: 9]

It is accepted by all, that the term "fast" refers to the sixth high holy day of YOM KIPPUR (the day of attonement) and again, such was Pauls dedication to YHVH, that even in the midst of a storm, Torah was still the abundance of his heart, to which his mouth spoke.

[Luke. 6: 45] "...of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

And the Law and the Prophets agreed...

[Leviticus 16: 29, 31] And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you: It shall be a Sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
